Byron’s practice focuses on aspects of trademark law. Prior to joining Reed Smith, Byron was an Attorney Advisor in the United States Patent and Trademark Office where he gained invaluable experience performing legal review of applications for federal trademark registrations to ensure compliance with the Lanham Act and associated regulations. He also engaged in administrative litigation, including appellate advocacy and drafted interoffice memoranda, rebuttals, and final office actions on behalf of the agency.
