Sachin Kerur, office managing partner of the Reed Smith’s Middle East offices and a partner in the firm’s Energy and Natural Resources practice, has again been featured in Construction Week’s annual list of the most powerful and influential people in the Middle East’s construction industry.

Kerur is ranked in second place in this 2024 edition, one of only 10 lawyers and legal consultants to be included and the highest ranked private practice lawyer on the list. This is the sixth consecutive year that he has been named to this prestigious listing.

Kerur has advised government and private sector clients on public and privately procured infrastructure and development projects, primarily in the Middle East and India, for over 25 years. He has advised on some of the most important airports, road and rail networks, power plants, commercial and residential developments, oil and gas facilities, water supply plants, hotels and education facilities throughout the Middle East and Indian subcontinent.

Kerur has also driven the firm’s strategy in the Middle East for over five years and has played a pivotal role in the growth of the business in the region.

In this latest edition, Construction Week notes that under Kerur’s leadership, Reed Smith in the region has “achieved exceptional revenue and client expansion across diverse sectors such as construction, infrastructure, logistics, commodities, technology, and hospitality.”
