Benoît is a partner in the Paris office.
Benoît specialises in civil, professional, and criminal liabilities related to complex major disasters and industrial risks, product liability, insurance and reinsurance law, and insurance policy management. He leads a team of senior associates who mainly work for manufacturers dealing with professional risks of any nature (15 years of several thousands of asbestos-related proceedings), but also on the first files related to exposure to glycol ether in France.
Benoît advises on many commercial procedural matters of significant amounts, particularly relating to amendments to, or breaches of, contracts and questions linked to contractual liability.
Benoît also has strong know-how in disputes related to professional negligence, health care, and pharmaceutical and white-collar crime. He is regularly instructed to handle arbitration cases. Prior to joining Reed Smith in 2005, Benoît was a partner at Rambaud Martel.
Benoît is recommended by The Legal 500 for Insurance and Commercial Litigation.
