Min is a commercial disputes lawyer who has extensive experience advising on China-related cross-border commercial disputes, international arbitration, and complex commercial litigation. He is qualified to practise in Hong Kong, England and Wales, and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area of China. He regularly conducts arbitrations under the rules of major arbitration institutions, including HKIAC, CIETAC, LCIA, ICC, SIAC, SCMA, and LMAA. Representing Skyhigh Investment Limited, a wholly owned entity of New Horizon Capital Partners (新天域资本), one of the largest China-focused private equity funds in the world, in respect of a US$65 million investment in Guangzhou Guocui Flowers (广州国萃花卉交易有限公司), successfully obtaining in the Hong Kong court a worldwide Mareva injunction against the founding shareholders in the sum of US$105.73 million in aid of arbitration proceedings in Hong Kong. Representing Reignwood International Investment Group Co., Ltd., a leading independent Chinese investment company, in both Hong Kong winding-up proceedings and UK Supreme Court appeal proceedings in respect of a complex US$200 million dispute over a contract of performance guarantee that arose out of one of four shipbuilding contracts for bespoke self-propelled drill ships built by Shanghai Shipyard. This matter was awarded “Deal of the Year 2022” by China Business Law Journal.
