Katherine Yang has seventeen years’ experience practicing at leading international law firms in China. Her practice focuses on foreign direct investments, M&A, restructuring, general corporate and commercial as well as regulatory matters. Katherine assists multinational clients from a wide range of sectors, including pharma and medical device, large energy groups, mining groups, commodities trading companies, machinery manufacturers, foodstuff companies as well as media and entertainment groups. In addition, she also has particular focus on the environment, sustainability and carbon footprint aspects of ESG.

In addition, Katherine also advises on various legal, regulatory and compliance issues of clients’ China business, such as import and export, employment, foreign exchange, unfair competition (false advertising, commercial bribery, etc.) and other general corporate matters.
Katherine obtained her bachelor and master law degrees from top Chinese and US law schools. She has been a member of the New York bar since 2010.
