John is a senior associate in the Global Commercial Disputes Group. John’s practice concentrates on complex commercial disputes, with an emphasis on litigation associated with entertainment matters and Reed Smith’s entertainment clients. He has experience in a diverse range of subjects in state and federal commercial litigation, including contract disputes, copyright and trademark matters, commercial real estate, long-arm jurisdiction over foreign entities, corporate governance, employment disputes, and judgment enforcement. John’s responsibilities have spanned all phases of litigation from inception to dispositive motions, trial, and appeal. In particular, John has briefed and argued dispositive motions; argued at trial; led mediations; and coordinated all stages of discovery, from depositions to motion practice. Across matters, clients, and industries, John maintains a hands-on approach tailored to clients’ individual legal needs and business goals.
