Reed Smith’s representation of Greenfield Midstream LLC, as one of the buyers of Saddle Butte Rockies Midstream, LLC and affiliates, is one of four deals shortlisted in the Oil & Gas category for deals larger than $500 million. Greenfield joined with Noble Midstream Partners LP in the formation of joint-venture Black Diamond Gathering, LLC, which acquired Saddle Buttes for $625 million.
Houston partner Gary C. Johnson led the transaction team for Greenfield, which included Houston partner Todd Culwell and associates James M. Pappenfus and Ali Burner, and Pittsburgh Tax partner Leo N. Hitt.
Additionally, the firm’s representation of Woodforest National Bank in the client’s refinancing of Renegade Holdings’ existing credit facilities is also one of four transactions shortlisted in the Oil & Gas category for deals less than $100 million.
