The Daily Journal spotlighted Finch for her success in high-stakes insurance recovery litigation, stating that, “her current cases deal with several important issues of the day, including the opioid crisis, the pandemic, climate change and the war in Ukraine.”

“It’s a niche practice with a broad variety, which also makes it exciting,” said Finch, who is a member of Reed Smith’s renowned Insurance Recovery Group. “We see something new all the time.”

For example, the Daily Journal highlighted Finch’s work for one of the major drug distributors seeking coverage for thousands of claims stemming from the nationwide opioid epidemic.

Finch said she enjoys her work, “because the issue are so front and center… and of widespread interest to business.”

Also highlighted was Finch’s work for companies in the hospitality industry making business interruption claims, for chip manufacturers seeking coverage for major losses from a natural disaster, and for businesses that leased aircraft to Russian airlines at a total loss.

As the Daily Journal concluded, Finch and her team are handling matters “at the forefront of what the law looks like in the coverage space.”
