In partnership with independent researcher Best Companies Group, nominees from Crain’s Best Places to Work in New York are ranked based on a weighted employee survey and an employer questionnaire.

In an article on its website announcing this year’s honors, Crain’s stated “large or small, these 100 employers have rolled with the punches through economic turmoil, developing ways to engage employees, make them feel heard and get them excited to show up for work—whether in person or via Zoom.”

“Being named a best place to work in New York is a tremendous honor and a reflection of our dedication to provide a supportive, inclusive, and inspiring environment for all of our people,” said Cindy Schmitt Minniti, office managing partner for Reed Smith in New York. “Earning this distinction for the past seven years is not a coincidence. We believe that a positive work culture – rooted in collaboration, community, dignity, and respect - is essential for our team's success. This award is a testament to our ongoing efforts to provide a supportive, inclusive, and inspiring environment for our employees.”
