Reed Smith has again been ranked among the 10 most popular international law firms for Latin America's biggest companies, according to Latin Lawyer, a leading publication for the region's legal market.

The ranking, based on the latest research by Latin American Corporate Counsel Association (LACCA), shows that Reed Smith advised 14 of the 100 largest companies in Latin America in 2024, six more than in 2023. This is the second consecutive year that Reed Smith has been on the top 10 list, reflecting its strong reputation and experience in the Latin America region.

The Latin America Business Team handles sophisticated transactions, large projects, complex cross-border disputes, and sensitive investigations for international and local clients across the region, leveraging dual-licensed and native Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking lawyers. The team is led by Houston-based partner Francisco Rivero. The Houston office is deeply involved in the firm’s Latin America matters, supported by a thriving international arbitration practice and a strong track record in Mexico disputes, as well as cases involving Colombia, Peru, Chile and Brazil.
