Elizabeth focuses her practice on managed care law, advocating for health plan clients in complex disputes at both federal and state levels. She is committed to partnering with her clients, ensuring they are well-informed throughout the legal process, and providing them with straightforward, customized solutions to their complex legal challenges.
Elizabeth has extensive experience in all phases of litigation, from preparing and arguing successful motions at the trial court level, to handling mediation submissions, responsive pleadings, discovery, and briefs. Her background includes litigating matters under state and federal statutory provisions and representing clients in administrative actions before state Departments of Public Health and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
Prior to joining Reed Smith, Elizabeth practiced at a national firm in Chicago, where she advised clients across the full spectrum of aging services and long-term care providers.
During her law school tenure, Elizabeth served as a senior editor for the Annals of Health Law and Life Sciences Journal and was a 711 licensed student clinician for the Loyola University Chicago Veteran's Practicum.
