The award recognizes attorneys and general counsel for outstanding dedication to their communities and the profession. In addition to her leadership at the firm, she was chosen because of her role in developing innovative technology solutions for the firm’s financial services clients.

Bettino represents financial services companies in a wide range of state and federal consumer and business litigation matters, including class actions, government investigations and consumer claims in state and federal courts. She co-leads the firm’s financial services litigation team and serves on its Executive Committee, in addition to being the firm’s office managing partner in Princeton.

She helped develop legal tech applications, such as automated brief applications, that generate high-quality documents for clients facing high volumes of litigation. The tools provide efficiency and significant cost savings for many of the firm’s clients in the residential mortgage lending, auto finance, insurance and equipment finance sectors.

Bettino is also actively involved in various community service and pro bono initiatives at the firm. She participates in projects to support HomeFront NJ, a nonprofit dedicated to ending homelessness in central New Jersey by assisting with employment opportunities and affordable housing. In addition, she supervises associates working with Kids in Need of Defense, which provides protection for unaccompanied and separated children.
