The text of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) has raised a number of questions regarding the intersection between the CCPA and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA). The GLBA exemption does not completely remove financial institutions from the scope of the CCPA, and information not covered by the GLBA will still be covered by the CCPA.
