Nicole is a litigation partner in Reed Smith's Houston office where she represents clients in a broad range of complex business matters. Nicole’s experience includes representing clients in public and private nuisance cases, warranty and contract claims, products liability cases, product and oil field failure disputes, pipeline and other midstream incidents, and negligence and personal injury defense. Nicole has a significant mass tort and commercial litigation practice, representing clients in the energy, life sciences, professional services, and manufacturing industries.

In the energy industry, Nicole works closely with clients on a variety of operational issues and legal disputes arising from oil and gas exploration and production and hydrocarbon transportation and storage. Nicole also litigates breach of warranty claims, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in complex disputes governed by the UCC. Additionally, her experience includes handling claims involving hydrocarbon trading, trespass, seismic data, personal injury, theft, and environmental issues.

Nicole’s mass tort experience includes litigating against individual plaintiffs, state and county governments, and private corporations. Nicole has successfully litigated these disputes in courts around the country, working to manage large defense groups, take extensive discovery against high profile witnesses, argue high stakes motions, and work up cases for trial where she has served on the trial team.
