On July 20, 2004, Judge Shira A. Scheindlin, U.S. District Court Judge for the Southern District of New York, issued her final e-discovery opinion among a series of precedential opinions in the landmark case of Zubulake v. UBS Warburg. In the 20 years since then, the groundbreaking Zubulake opinions have served as a foundation for evolving e-discovery law.
