LONDON – Global law firm Reed Smith today announced that it has advised the shareholders of MarineTraffic, a global ship-tracking data and maritime analytics company, on the sale of the entire issued share capital to Kpler, a leading provider of commodities data, analytics, and market insight.
The Reed Smith multi-disciplinary team advising MarineTraffic on the transaction consisted of global co-head of the firm’s Financial Industry Group, Panos Katsambas, partners Sam Webster, Caspar Fox, Ravi Pattani, David Ashmore, Nick Breen, Will Sutton, Elle Todd and Brigid North, as well as associates Victoria Bryden, Anna Goodman-Jones, Saiya Guo, Tom Baxter, Joanna D’Cruz, Jessica Parry and Josh Hogan.
