MIAMI – Five Miami-based lawyers from Reed Smith have been identified as leaders in their field by Super Lawyers Florida, the international law firm announced today.
Four of the lawyers were recognized for their litigation and arbitration work and for resolving significant international contract problems, and another was included for giving quality advice on insurance coverage issues.
The Reed Smith lawyers who were included on the publisher’s Florida list are:

- Ana Maria Barton, International
- M. Cristina Cárdenas, International
- R. Hugh Lumpkin, Insurance Coverage
- Edward Mullins, International
Astigarraga, Cárdenas, Lumpkin and Mullins have appeared on the list for many years running; Barton is on the Super Lawyers list for the first time after appearing on the Rising Star list in previous years.
Super Lawyers uses independent research, peer nominations, and peer evaluations to select the top 5% of attorneys to the Super Lawyers list each year.
